How we work with you

The needs of every client are different but we aim for a friendly straightforward and efficient service in every case. Here is the process we follow when working with a new client so you know what to expect:

1.  A detailed open conversation
This is so important as every roof is uniquely different and every client will have different preferences. We like to spend a considerable time on the phone with you, asking and answering questions, looking at your property online to get a sense of the particular requirements.

2.  The Site Survey
If you would like us to visit to carry out a technical survey, we will do this within a week and for absolutely no charge. There is no obligation to buy. It is an opportunity for us to take some more precise measurements, check your roof in structural terms, and for shading, and meet you face to face to discuss your options. We really believe in a friendly, frank approach with no sales pitch of any kind.

3.  A bespoke quote
Once we’ve carried out a site survey, we are then in a position to draw up a tailored quote based on your specifications and budget. It will also tell you how much energy you can expect to generate, your likely return from the Feed in Tariff and potential savings on your electricity bill.

4.  Booking the installation
If you decide to go with Ecovolt, we will book in your installation straight away. This is usually no more than 3 weeks ahead. We keep you fully updated as to when your equipment arrives and what you need to do to secure your Feed In Tariff payments. A residential installation of less than 4 kW usually takes no more than 1-2 days to complete. We connect you to the grid that day and you will be producing electricity immediately!

5.  Handover
After the installation, we take around 2 weeks to complete all your relevant test certificates and paperwork which we send to you in your own Ecovolt Handover pack, with full operating instructions, manuals and warranties. We are always on hand to answer any queries about your system once it is up and running.
